Felt surprisingly well, he said this afternoon, but was NOT hungry so he's back on anti-sickness medicine and high powered fluids (see pic above) until his appetite returns, whilst I survive on 'live' lettuce from Lidl as part of my diet - hmm . . . well for next 5 days and then it's back to real food . . . and le cookathon . . . .
I write about Stephen's chemo as a means of allaying fears of people who may be facing it - a reassurance that it can be tolerated - and getting the right mind set is one of the most important factors. Plus someone who cares and looks after you.

Hi Babs,
I think it is good that you write about the chemo treatment. My frien at top of our street has just had one of her daughter's go through it, she has finished the lot and is now on her 5 year wait!!!!! She looks good, and was good all through the treatment. Now it has finished, she is being sick!!! Odd isn't it how it affects people. I do wish your patient all the best with the chemo, and you too Babs for all the info about it. You just never know.........
Well as long as he keeps going mum I guess it will give him hope and that will keep him positive...Hey the lettuces from Lidle look good .. I have sown some rocket in the garden which have now produced little seedlings..lots of other seeds I have sown too and waiting for them all to appear with some luck!
