Bit of a shocker, especially to us pensioners who remember the 67p rise we got a couple of years ago!
To other things.
The roast lamb was delicious, with enough left over to make sandwiches and a Rogan Josh lamb curry which is now in the freezer.
Off to hospital later this morning for my invalid's 4th bout of chemo to be followed by a CT scan on the 14th (his birthday!) to discover if chemo has been effective. Let's jolly well hope it has!
Would give him hope - a wonderful and much needed birthday present.
