'ere - this is a bit of alright . . . home sweet home . . . and not a pigeon in sight!

This contraption is not a trap but a means of allowing our 2 gentle doves to eat - whilst keeping greedy pigeons out. Blackbirds, starlings and squirrels have now found a way in the gap at the back. Poor doves can't win.
