My moment of fame will soon be over - all will be forgotten in one week's time when the next issue of magazine drops through the letterbox - but I've enjoyed every minute - apart from proof reading at 4 o clock in the morning - and that was made palatable with a few glasses of sparkly to keep me awake!
I'm hoping, if circumstances permit, to start on a new project this summer - ready for the autumn . . . . so watch this space . . . .

Babs, you will never be forgotten! that was a great article and your quilt is amazing - I'm just sorry that I subscribed to the magazine too late to start (although I have been collecting back copies of ebay!)
Do you remember sending and email about my work? Well...watch this space too - wheels may be in motion ;o)
Take care & I hope things are well.
Angela

Dear Babs,
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog! As per your request, I have posted the recipe for the coconut pie. Hope you enjoy it, and also your friend who is ill.
Love,
Ruby
Forgotton - never! Why do you think I save all my quilty magazines - I make DH cut up his Land Rover ones to keep the articles because they are full of adverts, but mine stay intact!
Fish n chip paper - NEVER. Your fifteen minutes of fame is there for posterity Babs. I bet people will be making this Quilt in years to come. What goes around, comes around as they say.
You and Angela are teasing us here, but I think I have a good idea!!!!
