DERWENT WATER in The Lake District.

I live on the border of the Lake District which is just about the most beautiful place on earth.
The ab0ve picture of Derwent Water was taken this Autumn.  Isn't it lovely?
I feel so privileged to live here where there is so much scope and inspiration for artwork of all descriptions.    The colours are fabulous and everchanging.

Lucky lucky you Babs. My view is horrendous. I am totally green with envy.

The Lake District has so many photo opportunities but not many people capture the day to day beauty of the Lakes quite how you have managed. The lighting in this shot is stunning.

We are always encouraging our guests at these Lake District Holiday Cottages to share their photos not only with us, our guests but also the wider community of people who really appreciate the Lake District ffor what it is.

Thankyou Eldred for your kind comments.
I enjoy taking landscape photographs. Can't really go wrong with pics of Lakeland - so beautiful. I stay with friends in Watermillock - Ullswater - take hundreds of pics whilst up there.
